So this time, again i’m going to try to blog as often as possible.

These past 6 months have been a pretty interesting. I shall summarize base on the months

NOVEMBER

Graduation and Holidays.

I spent almost one month in Australia, enjoying the sun, beach, water and the company of my lovely friends.

1) I finally graduated after 3 whole years of studying. Yay me!!

2) Holidays around Australia.

The Bitch and i have been planning to go on a holiday together. The London trip didn’t happen cause i was in Aussie, so she went herself. So we decided, Australia will be the perfect place, with all our friends and family there. It’ll be a perfect holiday!

DECEMBER

I decided to take up a temporary job with Monash University as a Administrative Executive. I had a great working experience there with great colleagues and seniors staff. I worked there for only 2 months as it was not the kind of job i was looking for. Is a super admin job …  sits in office all day. CANDIEMAN!!

Besides that, i participated in this thing called International Buddhist Youth Exchange (IBYE). My family hosted one delegate. Is so fun having another sister around. Although it was only for 2 nights, but i think we had great fun.

Malacca was once colonized by the Portuguese  and also the Dutch, hence the beautiful architecture.

Over the weekend, I tag along the Indonesians youth for a 1 night trip in Malacca. Is been a while since i’ve gone to Malacca. So being me, a total bimbo, was superbly amazed and was awed by the beautiful town.

A race was organized around the city. It was the first time participating in a treasure hunt race and it was pretty interesting.  We were split into teams consisting of 5 members and were thrown with a map to navigate around malacca by feet! Solving clues, doing tasks, eating yummy cendols, exploring Malacca all under the blazing hot sun was actually pretty darn aweseome!

Despite being badly burned, it was all worth it.

Dad decided to do something special, so the Bro, dad and i headed off to the temple to clean the huge Buddha image in the Shrine Hall.

According to dad, 1o years back, 090999, my family and i was in the temple doing the same thing.

Because it was such an auspicious day, the Dan planned a photo trip and i tagged along. Weee!

Awesome day honestly. Beautiful butterflies. Took some awesome pics but obviously it wasn’t as good as the Dan cause no.1.. i’m still a noob. no. 2.. i’m short. :S

Ever since i came home, I love it when i wake up to the sounds of strong winds and rain drops. (Living in such hot tropical country makes you miss the ice cold winter in Berwick.. alot!.). So this only mean one thing… COOL WEATHER!

Yes, instead of curling under my nice comfy Doona, i climbed out of bed at 730am instead to make sure i don’t miss every single moment of the awesome weather.

Up on the track-mill for half and hour and off to do light weights for another 20 minutes. Felt so good.

It is in fact weird how i get so pumped up with such gloomy weather.

The rest of the day  was spent at the patio by the beautiful koi pond with the mini waterfall gushing down and the sound of rain droplets with my book. PERFECT.

With such gloomy weather, it suited the book persona. It made me feel as though i was in the book….. Note: I was reading New Moon. Vampires, Werewolves, Forest, Gloomy and Rainy weather. Because i love books like these, i’m starting to wonder if they really exist and i actually don’t mind being one too!

Besides that, it was a Tuesday! .. Pasar Malam. No sun! and Drizzles! Aaaaa.. couldn’t miss a chance to go pasar malam on a cooling day. So off the Mum, the Dan and i went to grab yummylicious food. This is one thing i miss tremendously when i’m there.. Local finger food and munchies.

It is a good sign that i started my month amazingly. Despite August ended quite horribly due to some idiots. ANyhooo i am sure September will be a good month! wHeee.

P/s I wish home could have this type of weather more often.

The Dan and I decided to have a bbq. Since the both of us are jobless and bored, so a bbq to entertain the very sad life of ours would be fuN! Besides that, the bbq was also the pre-event to the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia playing on Astro that very night.

Because i enjoy the whole process of marinating and preparation of food, i was in charge of food. The Dan was in charge of inviting people.

All in all.. bbq was great. Chilling with close friends with good foood and good music (MTV world stage) is always good.

Saturday

A family trip to Genting. 2 car loads and up up away to Genting.

Dad and mum needed a break. The boys too were in need of a good short trip. So Genting was a good spot. Good weather, Good entertainment and nearby. Ahh.

Sunday

It was Malaysia’s independence day. The 52nd to be precise.

So a Merdeka celebration was he;d in the temple. Although i was absolutely lazy to wake up at 730am but since there was free breakfast and most importantly the youth needed to raise the flag and sing our national anthem,  i was there to support.

Is been such a long time since i went to the temple early in the morning and meeting the youths. I actually enjoyed myself and felt spiritually grounded once again.

Something happened today and it hit me quite badly to be honest. And because i’m older and more matured, i am not putting the blame on anyone but myself because i realized what i did was entirely immature and childish for a 22 year old.

But putting an ultimatum in a friendship because of this is not fair at all.

Why can’t two people discuss maturely and understand each others side instead of giving an ultimatum??? . I hate such acts because it will not solve a problem but create other unnecessary problems.

Bah, i’m tired.

Bah, i’m sick of it.

Bah, i’m honestly too exhausted to fight for it anymore.

Bah, i want to end it all.

But i can’t. Cause i cherish the friendship too much. I sayang the person too much.

The company was awesome.

Finally got to meet up with the girls after a long while.

Lied a little here and there. But it was all to protect ourselves… or should i say myself?

It was great meeting up with old friends but it would be even greater if everyone could make it.

Sadly, it will be impossible especially friends are around the world now.

All in all, the night ended wonderfully with a great chat and company with the Bestie and a hug from the Bitch.

I was inspired to have a bbq because of  this:

* A bday gift from my darling friends. It was so odd when they first gave me, my first thought went through my mind was ” Shit, how the heck am i going to bring this home”. In the end, i manage to shipped it home * i love the booK!

I love bbq.

I love cooking.

But i hate eating the food i cooked.

Back in Berwick, bbq marinating was always done by the 51b’s in 2008 and in 2009, it was Denise and family. I was just there to eat, hangout and clean a little .

Quote ” Too many cooks spoils the broth”.

I was doing a good deed!

Anyways, being the total noob in bbq, i had dad to bring me around looking for a good set the day before the bbq. Dad was the expert in bbq although is been like 20 years since he did one. The last time he had a bbq was either my  2-3 years old birthday. Yes, 20 years ago.

So dad was incharge of setting up the fire and all. I was in charge of marketing/shopping and marinating all meat and seafood.

Anyways, BBQ was great fun. I started cooking at 5 until 9. Yups 4 hours at the pit. By the end of the night i was exhausted! The heat and dehydration. Almost died. BUt it was lovely as i could cooked an awesome meal for the Family.

Next up. BBQ for the kawans. Probably a couple of friends and a simple one will do. This time, although it was my first time, we did an elaborate bbq. From chicken to ribeye steak to lovely seafood. Awesomness!!

I was given Mr Mario from my dearest housemate, Malcolm.  I shall label Mario as Mr. Mario Malloy (is Malcolm’s last name lol). He really know how to make me miss him the very last minute. Despite him hardly being ever around, we still remain close. The times where he sat on me to wake me up. The times he lifted me and put me aside because i was in his way. The times where he pushes me right to the wall just cause to prove to me how strong he was. Yup he is, he honestly that strong and big.

I had the most beautiful sent off. My 3 dearest boys, Lee, Tim and Alex sang me off right before i climbed into the car who fetched me to the airport. Ginny, Ying Qi and CK was there too to say gooodbye. Ginny, my dearest exhousemate, despite the little tension we always had, it was so hard saying goodbye to her. Crying in each other arms.. we knew no matter what, we reallly sayang each other.

I was hugging dearest B so tight and crying in his arms. I honestly couldn’t leave dearest B. He had to pull me away from me to leave me to say my last goodbyes to the rest. The hardest thing was to let him go. Although we had a huge dissagreement the night before i left, i was glad everything was settled right before i left.

I had my last funny and crazzy chat with Ken Wai. Mr nice guy called me before i left and catch up. The night that he left to find his gf, it was so tough for me cause i realise i will never have a chance to have such an awesome time with my dearest housemate. The times where we annoyed and nagged each other so badly. The times where ShengJun and i mischievously unlock his doors when he was showering. The times where i became the masseuse during his back ache days. The times where he forgot to wake me up for important stuff. Ah…. there so many great times we had.

I had my last emo and heart to heart talk to my very closest friend, Florence. I really love her so much. Words cannot explain how wonderful, awesome and great she is.

I had 2 massive potlucks in my apartment to bid goodbye to everyone on MRS.

I had massive Jap dinner with my darling housemates. The lovely boys who coloured my life beautifully everyday this year. I really owe it to Huayu, ShengJun, Douglas and Kenwai for putting beautiful colours in my life. Filling my day up with so many silly jokes and laughter. They truly know how to cheer me up when i’m down. Huayu, the Mr Tat who lives opposite me. Ah the times we lock ourselves in the room in the dark to play with Mr Nikon D60. The times where KW and I drag him out of bed for breakfast. The times where KW and him scared the shit out of me with that huge spider in the toilet. They love seeing me scream. Ah the 4 of them are the most awesome housemate i have. I truly love them.

And finally I checked in at the counter and was lucky enough to get my luggage through although it was teeny weeny overweight.
